Hugs for you. I had a rough weekend. I broke down at work on Saturday night, and I actually had to go to the ladie's room and splash cold water over my face to just calm myself down. All of the last days and the funeral memories came flooding and I just couldn't stop the tears from streaming down my face.
I hoped that my coworkers didn't notice. In any case, I just needed a friend to lean on and you are one of the ones who understands me.
As for funeral plans, yep, I had his hat, his favourite pair of sunglasses, his cane, and his scarf on the alter next to his ashes. That was him. Always with a hat and glasses. He needed his cane to get around, and he wore his white scarf on our wedding day. He looked like a maffia guy (The men in black were at my wedding, hahahahahah).
I miss him so much, my heart feels like its in flames, and I don't know how to put out the painful fire.
I hope I'm not being too morbid. I think I will try to go bake a cake. My mother in law gave me freshly picked apples off her 3 apple trees. So I will put apples on the bottom and try to make an upside down apple cake :-)
That should take my mind off Roy for an hour or so. (Yeah right).
