im so sorry that you have to go through this. my grandfather passed away 7 months ago from lung cancer so i understand your feelings the doctors told us he had until july but in april his heart just couldnt take anymore and it stopped beating. i didnt have a chance to say goodbye because as always i worked late and arrived a few minutes after his passing. that is why my advice to you is to make sure your grandfather knows how much he means to you how much of an impact hes had on your life all the things i wish i told my grandfather instead of assuming he knew. as time passes i have come to realize that my grandfather is in a better place and although sometimes i think i just keep saying that to make myself feel better your sister is right his quality of life has changed and now its no longer fair to keep him around in pain to make urself feel better. i no its taken me a while to get over my selfishness and i still have my many moments wen i wish my grandfather were here to give me advice or just to watch the game show network with.there are no words i can tell you to get through this very difficult time except if you need someone im here
