It was so great to sign on this morning and find your message! I check here at least once a week-except at Christmas time.
We had that huge ice storm 2 weeks before the holidays and I had to move into my sisters with my son for close to a week since we had no power.
All the food in the hosue had to be thrown out. What a mess! It was that in addition to the holidays that made me feel my loss again in such a new and profound way.
Oh and two pipes in the basement burst from freezing.

That's what friends do. They help each other out in good and rough times.
