Judith,

I have read several of your poems and really admire your talent. My husband Alan died November 5, 2008. Our 22nd anniversary is coming up next week, and I really dread the day. I have already been through most of the major holidays, including his birthday; but I cannot imagine this anniversary without him. On his birthday, I locked myself in the house, figuratively, and refused to answer the phone. That may be the way I get through this day, too. Whatever it takes. Thank you for sharing your poem.
