My baby is gone and she's not coming back

I am at a point of the grieving process where I have the hope she will come back, but know she's not. I have no emotion and do not know how to show compassion anymore. I used to be so loving and so compassionate to my husband but do not feel that anymore. Will these feelings ever return?
