Brandy, your post made me cry... To lose a soul mate must be devastating.. I cannot imagine what you are going through. I can feel the pain in your post... My heart goes out to you & your son, my thoughts and prayers r with you... Your husband's passing was so recent & you are still in the early stags of grief.. I imagine it would be good for you & your son to talk, talk about your husband and remember the good times, celebrate his life. It will help both of you to feel better, accept what has happened & eventually move on... The emptiness, the what next, the lonliness.... It sounds like its all apart of the grieving process... I think its very important to surround yourself with close friends or family if you have that privilegde... if not, it may be a good idea to look into support groups in your local area or even a psychologist... They are the best at counselling & listening & that can help a tonne... Nothing will take away your loss, but time will make things better slowly... I hope that when the time is right you are able & strong enough to get out there n join some sort of hobby tennis class, dance class, etc something you enjoy which will keep you busy & help you to meet new people... My heart goes out to you & your son .... May your late husband rest in peace. Be strong, for him & your son & just think to yourself when you feel like you can't handle life, what would he have wanted for you.... FIGHT & know that nothing can take away your 18 yrs together or the impact you had on each others lives, the beautiful memories or the love you shared which lives on.... FOREVER... Stay strong Brandy, you are going to get through this.
