On HBO the show Entourage has a fictional storyline of an Aquaman Movie. The lead actor of the Entourage series is Vincent Chase. His character nabs the part of Aquaman. The FICTIONAL Movie in Entourage is helmed by James Cameron (Fictional) Now, there was a REAL idea for Aquaman. The Producers of Starksy and Hutch had rights to it, but I'm unsure if it's back in DC's hands now. Also, James Cameron commented on this mix up. saying he kept getting asked by his friends how the Aquaman movie was coming along. He said he wasn't doing it, but all he had to do was make 2 phone calls and it would have been a done deal. I say to Mr. Cameron...Make those calls!
