About the Waterbearer...whatever issues it may be from the first twelve issues...Veitchs first few issues were okay but after that it went down hill. Just don't take too much of an impression from that TPB. If you really want to know AQ I won't strongly suggest tracking down a series called "Time and Tide".
: Oh, I thought of the duplicate ability due
: to plankton. And seeing as how humans are
: made of matter and atoms, I thought the
: plankton could be used in the light. I also
: ordered a trade paper back call Aquaman: The
: Waterbearer, so I can get a better
: understanding of the water hand. And I'm
: also going to read the aquaman respect
: thread.

: I didn't mean Aquaman could make it rain, I
: meant when It did rain he could control the
: water. Like harden the water pressure and
: make hail.
:
: Yeah, that could work to an extent.
:
: He could also control the
: direction he wanted the hail or rain to go.
: duplicating isn't really needed. I just
: figured he'd need it help out in a war. Like
: if atlantis was under attack from
: Blackmanta's forces he could fight there,
: and the duplicate could be somewhere else,
:
: Well, if he's in water and he has the power
: to control it I suppose it would make sense
: for him to be able to shape it in his form.
: Whether he can give it a life of its own in
: order for it to be effective in
: battle...might be kinda iffy.
:
: like battling Ocean Master. I also know the
: healing hand could heal, but can it
: regenerate lost limbs? Because in JLA:
: Classified Aquaman lost his leg in a fight
: to ocean master and he grew it back.
:
: That's a good question. I haven't read the
: issue you cite but I do know the water hand
: can only do so much. Early on in Veitchs run
: AQ was keeping an old man alive temporarily
: with the water hand but wasn't able to cure
: him and the old man eventually died.
