I thought the plot ran very close to Aquaman myself when I first read it. I agree with Lucid about if a Namor movie comes out first as well. I would hope DC realizes this is the perfect time to get Artie ion the big screen.
: This is good news, but I think it might be
: bad. Aquaman kinda has the same storyline,
: so do you think Orin will ever make it to
: the big screen?
:
:
: I'd say if a Namor movie comes out it's
: pretty likely there wouldn't be an Aquaman
: movie. The characters are very alike and it
: would just seem pointless and copied.
:
: It's a common misconception that Namor is a
: Aquaman ripoff though, when in fact Namor
: was greated 2 years prior to Aquaman. I
: wouldn't be surprised if alot of people say
: that he's an Aquaman ripoff after seeing the
: movie.
:
: Although he has a reputation as being lame,
: Aquaman is much more of a household name
: than Namor, and i'm hoping that leads to
: Aquaman getting a movie released before the
: Sub Mariner does.
