Kurt Busiek has stated he won't be bringin old AQ back but I have no doubt he'll be back sometime. He's just going through a phase that nearly every other hero at DC and Marvel has...the replacement phase. It's a staple of comics and now our beloved is joining the ranks of the elite by having it done (about damn time if you ask me) not to mention KB is giving AQ a much needed quickening by taking Atlantis, the telepathy, the hand, the costume and all the other distractions out of the picture and focusing on AQ lore and his place in the DCU. My only hope is that this replacement is more like a Azrael then a Kyle Rayner and it doesn't take 10 damn years to get AQ back.
: I just hate the new direction this book has
: taken. I hate the writing and the art. I
: find the series very bland as well as
: confusing. For the love of God bring the
: real Arthur CUrry back. I mean when the
: hec is he going to return already!
