Well, after the dreaded thirst storyline ended AQ eventually found himself in California where San Diego had sank and the population had been genetically mutated to survive underwater by a a scientist and a evil corporation (this plotline has yet to play out but it looks like Busiek is about to go into it again). AQ became the mayor of dubbed "Sub Diego" and battled a couple of intresting new enemies such as the Eel, the Marauder, and the return (in a cool ass story) of the Ocean Master. Till the Spector came and trashed Atlantis. Last we saw AQ he was picking up the pieces and bringin the Atlanteans to Sub Diego and feeding Black Manta to a bunch of hungry critters. In the wake of Infinite Crisis AQ has been transformed into the Dweller of the Depths a man-squid type sorceror and has been replaced by a new Arthur Curry who's only connection to AQ is the lighthouse keeper who adopted Orin and is the new Arthur...grandfather or something, I don't remember right now. That's about it really, this new AQ is basically just getting his footing but is currently in a very intresting struggle against Ocean Master. It's definetly a good time to be a Aquaman fan.
