and this, I suppose, was the fatal flaw in this project. The new guy IS the old guy. Joseph Curry was dead and Arthur turned into the dweller, but that meant part of Arthur's soul disappeared and went to Joseph, leading to the Dweller's amnesia, I guess. So all fanboys were boycotting the series and raging that "their" Aquaman is gone, but the truth is it's the same guy just in a younger body, a cooler looking suit, and without all the boring "married with children, oh and he's a king too" stuff that made me so optimistic about the Busiek stuff. This was one of those rare occasions where DC would have been better served to talk a little too fast to make sure everyone got it, instead of telling it to us ... real ... slow.
