I know that if I started reading a new series and the character was left like this I'd drop it due to confusion. This was dreadful from the start and no matter how hard Tad tried (He did a great job given with what time he had) it was gonna be miserable. I can only hope that Orin gets restored and the confusion can get laid to rest.
