See, here is where I think they made the biggest mistake in Aqua-history. Orin, was always the family man. He was DC's first husband/father. Taking away Jr. fragmented the character. Before, as King, Father and Husband, he had something to lose, now, not so much. Just My Opinion of course. : Was there ever a hint that Aqualad/Tempest : was mystical in any way in his younger years : or in old Aquaman appearences? No. : I think Tempest is the best growth of a : chara to come out of DC. I love that he : isn't simply a mirror image of Aquaman. : Which leaves them both as distict chara in : and of themselves... though I won't say I : wouldn't have liked Aquaman to gain the : abilities that Garth has. I will say that : they certainly suit Garth. But now Garth is powerless due to the after effects of 52. : Okay. Back to questions. : : How many Atlantis type cities are there? and : what are their names? Poseidonis (Aquaman's Birthplace), Tritonis, (Mer-People), Shayeris (Home of the Idylists and Birthplace of Garth), Thier Na Oge, (Home of Magical people and ruled by Nuada Silverhand), Hy-Brasil (Home of the Albino Manta-like people). Those are the Main Kingdoms. : What is the tech level of the Atlantis : cities? They vary from culture to culture. Depending on what their focus was in the culture for example, Thier Na Oge was mostly mystical. Poseidonis had advanced tech because of scholars. Hy-Brasil is a passive kingdom so their tech would not be used for war. Needless to say, they weren't in the dark ages either. : What is the name of Mera's world/Kingdom : again?
