Why can't the Aquamen co-exist? Bring back Arthur, either whole or with a harpoon or water hand, and have he and Mera rebuild Atlantis. Joseph and his dad can move into Poseidonis (or Tritonis or whichever city is his) and day to day, normal heroics could be handled by the kid. Anything too huge could be Arthur's job and they could swap off on JLA missions even. Plus, if they notice that certain issues sell better than others than that Aquaman gets more issues because that's the will of the people. I think it's either that or sneak a team into the Auaman title. Give us Dolphin, Mera, Tempest, and that eskimo illegitimate kid as well and make everyone equal parts of driving the story. People like teams.
