Posted by Kelly Zabel I just purchased the Audiblox program for my son, Tanner, who will be nine in August and is currently in second grade. I orded the program on April 13, 2006 and received it on April 15, 2006. I thought that was extremly quick. I can't really provide you much evidence of this program working yet, but I can relate to your frustrations with being let down and the expense in all the things you try. My son has the same type of problems that your son is experiencing. He has been through all the same therapies since he was three years old and has been in visiual therapy for almost two years. There have been improvements with him, however they are never as dramatic as what the therapists have anticipated. So we seem to get let down all the time. The school system is frustrating at best. We explain our sons problems to them repeatedly, and things are good for a couple weeks and then they seem to go back to treating him like all the other learning disabled children and seem to lose sight of what his real problems are. The school systems thinks that he is not progressing at the level he should be with all the services that they are providing. It seems like they push him through even though he is not making adequate progress. I'm torn because I don't want to have him held back because I think that down the road he will experience social problems in addition to the other problems we are facing, but at the same time I want him to get a good education. I found this program and decided that it couldn't hurt to try it as my son seems to have many of the symptoms described on the Audiblox website for the various disabilities. I figured this in combination with all the other therapies he is receiving might be beneficial. We started the program on Monday. It was somewhat confusing to me at first because you need to understand the exercises in order to work through them with my son. But I think I am getting it for now. Yesterday we worked on the program for 1 1/2 hrs and he loved it and was proud of himself when he completed an exercise correctly. The biggest problem for us is being consistent during the week when both our children have outside activities which they participate in. Bottom line is that I am excited and hopeful that this program will make a difference in my son's life! If you decide to give this program a try, good luck I hope it helps your son. Kelly
