I have just read your story about your son Adam. My husband and I are in the same position as you - our son is 14 and a half, and has writing problems (which appear to be linked to problems in math). He is currently getting help from a speech therapist, but his self-image is very poor, and where school work is concerned, he has no confidence in himself, and is very negative with us and his teachers.
