Posted by Susan If the parent/tutor is able to read and understand English, the Audiblox program can be used in any language. For example, if a French-speaking parent, who reads and understands English, desires to use the program for his child, the only exercise that will present any difficulty is the Reading Exercise. All the other exercises can simply be done in French by the parent, but to do the Reading Exercise the parent will have to get hold of suitable French word cards. It may sometimes be possible to buy suitable word cards for this exercise in shops that sell educational materials. If this is not available, the parent can make his own word cards, according to the example of the English word cards that come with the course materials. For Level 1 the parent should find a list of French words that is suitable for the first Grade at school, and then put these words on cards. With the help of a computer and a printer this should be a fairly easily surmountable task. For Level 2 the parent should find a list of French words that are suitable for the second Grade at school, and for Level 3 words that are suitable for third Grade. For Level 4, any word lists, containing more advanced words than those used in the previous levels, can be used. Kind regards,
