My son is 7 and in the 2nd grade.He has attended a private school since kindergarten. He has done cursive since kindergarten(which is required by this school) He is an excellent reader and speller but has great difficulty writing or composing a sentence of any kind.I was given tapes on Dyslexia by BrightSolutions which were very informative yet they always came back to difficulty reading and spelling which my son does not have only writing. Can a child have dysgraphia without dyslexia? I might mention he was in speech therapy from the age of 3-6 yrs if that matters. I am currently putting him through testing at our local elementary school also. Any info would be appreciated.
