Same for VIS after 2000, in that Monette was the only top contender with Karen being the next best. In fact, I think the AIS program held the Australian program together after 2000 with the losses over the years to 2004 from QHPC, WAIS and VIS. Alex Croak, Alison Johnston, Nicole Alexander, Belinda Archer, Hayley Tyrell, Jacqui Dunn and Melissa Munro all represented Australia at international comps during those years when Australia was really needing to rebuild.

Good post and good points. Some time ago I recall that WAIS was the subject of attention as they seemed to be the program that got gymnasts to the International Junior level and competition ready, only to lose most of them to retirement. Not to mention quite a lot seemed not to be entirely, if at all, injury focused.
