I don't have a problem with Mag and Wag Vics on the same day, however perhaps in hindsight it would have been better to only include Mag Level 7 and up with the Wag. Then you could have mag and wag levels 4-6 later on in the year and also mag and wag levels 1-3 together when it's time for state pennant. Wouldn't that greatly reduce the numbers and the need to start at such an early time for everyone involved?
