She also has a unique routine on her side, together with stylish and fluent movement. The only other gymnast I recall doing a standing back layout step-out to back whip was Jenny Smith in 1996. She has a nice front to back series. The front aerial to standing front somi is completely unique. She has a lovely front aerial to 2 feet, a skill considered 'cool' when Izbasa first did it, at which time Lauren was already performing it better, imo. The way she stands up after her double pirouette Terin Humphrey style is interesting. She has a lovely toepoint and legline with good ability to show leaps as well. And has a series into a double pike dismount that is done beautifully. I would say that she has quite likely the most varied set of skills through a beam routine of any gymnast in the World right now. Also the Chinese gymnast that went up after Lauren, who was on the Chinese team last year that won Worlds, wobbled easily as many times as Lauren, she just didn't have the fall. As pointed out, it was Lauren's first international showing of her beam routine going up against of all countries, China.

That's like comparing Hollie and Lauren. Lauren would be more Chloe's style and I think she is stronger than Chloe.
