Posted by CJ on 4/7/2007, 12:55 pm, in reply to "Re: quick overview from Bris" I was watching night two from vid yesterday, thinking maybe I was over-reacting to her fall in the moment (esp with the crowd gasp), thinking she looked like she may not remount. But she definitely looks like that could've been a possibility. The miss on the Gienger wasn't an even belly slap, it was tilted forward, the kind that would've hurt that much more. I didn't think she'd finish the comp (not as an excuse but a precaution), but she seemed to rest a bit, adjusted the bars for some of the last girls up, did a bit of prep for beam and went first on beam and last on floor. And nailed it to her credit. I've gotta say, at comps at Chandler they start beam SO fast after warm-up. I think I've missed the start of every girl who has gone first on beam after warm-ups for the last 3 comps I saw at Chandler. You think it's just another girl warming up till you realise they've already warmed up. I have to say as well, though the first night I thought the Japanese on floor were a bit blah and typical Japanese style with their floors, on the second night they worked them better and the music they've chosen should make any other crowd clap along.

Thanks for the info. I've always figured she has a 'touchy' back and that's why she does stick with the support up until she competes. Oh and curiously, the 3 or 4 consecutive split leaps she does after a floor routine, is that to do with her back or stretching out anything that stems for it? Was pondering what it does for her with Beck the other night.
