Howzit Ballistic crew. Carlos I'm loving my custom that you did for me a
little over a month ago. I really like the double mesh no stringer for the
colder waters . Got really lucky and two days after I got the board scored
beautiful 4'-6'+ barrelling conditions. Soon has I jumped on the board and
started paddling I had a great feeling about how this board felt. It was a
little tricky the first few bottum turns because I has riding the Chado alot
and this board is way more flexible so I had to adjust how hard I was
leaning in to my bottum turns. But soon as I got it down was so smooth. Also
scored real pretty 2'-3' the next day that just had wide open perfect
barrells. I had a reallly nice one with probably a full 7 second cover up
that had all the stand ups dazed. Soon as I pulled out I was like crap I
wish I could see that, but know the chances were slim because what were the
chances of 1 being a camera and 2 someone when shooting a lone boogier in a
crowd of stand ups. So I caught one more and was bummed when I got out
because I had someplace to go. I get back over to the deck in front of what
usaully is the he main peak and some random guy comes up and is like hey I
just got a crazy video of you killing it. I couldn't believe some guy was
there shooting stand ups and just happened to get that wave. Also from where
he was shooting it was aperfect angle straight into the tube so it has to be
good. Only catch is I'm still waiting on the guy to send the video. I was
going to send to you to show how stoked I was wiith my board but at this
point how knows. Any way sorry for the long story but I just wanted to let
you know how stoked I am.
I will definitly be putting another order in for at least on more board in a
few months. Also I was thinking about a dk/stand up board for myself just
trying to figure out size, I'm 6'1 205 so maybe 46" or 48"?
Again thanks for making such solid boards. Dave
