Right on Kyle for the tips. If you have a hot glue gun it can also help with dings, cuts and scrapes.
SpongeRez in case you are wondering is the same thing as ShoeGoop. You can get Shoe Goop at the hardware store. It is the exact same content as sponge rez, just different name on the package.
To take wax off the board, you can use the hair dryer but you can't shoot too much heat in one place. You have to keep the dryer moving around.
You can use an old credit card to gently scrape the wax away as it melts.
