When we could attract quality youth teams like us etc where the elite. I posted last year that I think we should just get Prem youth rejects, let them take the risk and expense. Perhaps players who have been rejected will try harder to prove a point?
I also made the point of pooling with other clubs to share the expense of younger players, as it is now you have to get 14 or so to justify a team and 12 will be rejected why not have a Lancs youth team, 2 from us Blaclpool Bury etc to form a squad shared expense ie one coach etc but the players appointed by your club are your first optio players.
