i didnt see it myself but heard that stan was on sky on sunday morning . i got told that stan said that he had saved 1.3million in wages for this season . with the 600,000 from the football league and the 500,000 + from our cup run , the million that bazza has put in and the so called million pound loan from the rest of the board i make that 4.4 million . with the 3 million digital money missing that still makes a surplus of 1.4 million . with our loses at 130 grand , why the doom and gloom about our finances by the board . with a squad of 20 players and one of them is on loan why is it that stan isnt getting is much needed finances for team strenghtening . i know that stan made an appeal to the board to come out and tell the fans about where we are at .... have you heard anything from bazza and the boys ? we have without doubt one of the best managers in british football , what stan has done this season surely puts him up there with harry potts as one of the all time greats but instead of building the club stan is having to do a spot of firefighting with about 15 fit players , surely this carnt be right . in the pre season stan wanted david johnson ,19 goals already this term and his value must of increased from the 100,000 notts forest wanted for him and matt taylor whos now at portsmouth and valued at 2 million , luton sold him for 400,000 and no doubt stan had a couple more up his sleeve who would have improved our squad and the value of the squad . so is bazzas short term plan really going to work ? i know when stan began as manager he said that burnley would be his last club and hopefully we'd make it to the premiership . but in the last couple of weeks stan has been muttering about the possiblity of going to a premier league club if he was offered it . i think bazza and the directors are playing a dangerous game because if stan does go elsewhere we will be in deep trouble , knob end and moyes are a prime example . stan isnt talking big money is he , maybe a couple of frees . so come on bazza and the board show the same ambition has stan and " lets crack on from here " the play offs are there for the taking if we really want it . i must say as a messageboard the vast majority of you on here dont seem to bothered about the boards actions this season which is odd . i think theres only scouse who really mentions one or two things . when the manager is even mentioning the whole situation surely its about time that us clarets should be discussing it . no doubt im wrong again but doing nothing like what is happening at the moment isnt right . because bazza has already stated that next season is going to be the same with no funds avalible which i feel is very negative even before the end of this season .
