yes cc very much in agreeance with you on that one.
how ipswich can legally evade creditors and then come out of administation only to rake in 750k for matt holland and take diallo from us is beyond me. the game must be in a worse state than we all thought, if the powers that be allow this to go on, legally or otherwise, it's just not on.
as for diallo, well good riddance to him.
i mean that.
would he still be earning his living in the game if we'd not stepped in and given him the chance?
people say that there's no loyalty in the game anymore and that he was totally within his rights to go to the highest bidder, drawing comparisons with our own working lives, wouldn't we go somewhere else for more money etc, but i don't subscribe to that.
give me a squad of committed players, however good, or bad, anytime over a bunch of highly paid prima donna mercenaries.
it's simple as far as i can see, they don't want to play for bfc, so they go.
a simplistic view i know, but as fans we're ripped off time and time again. i have friends who were/are pro footballers and i know the way they talk. perhaps now the tide is turning in the fans' favour, maybe the game will return to the ordinary man in the street?
