Ay up Alf, It's steaming hot, in the 90s and humid, I'm sweating my way thru several shirts a day. In fact, t'other morning I decided to go for a run to the beach and back early like before it warmed up too much, and the only T-shirt remaining in my "junk" shirts stash for sport was an old Jimmy Mullen's claret and blue army one from 92! Trying to forget UK spellings as I work in papers so need to think 'local'...
Agree on Taff, altho not the most imaginative of nicknames. Cabbage was a good one, and Foghorn for Nigel Gleghorn comes to mind also.
I see the 'Beast' has landed. Now if he gets the wind whipping down off the hills behind one of his giant kicks, could we have a keeper scoring this year? Has a Clarets keeper ever scored?
