Agree that the IOM event has become tedious now, results largely irrelevant, but glad to hear that the win v Roth saw some better performances. Still concerned over central defence and central midfield. Hope to see a couple of signings in those areas in next two weeks. I'm sure most of Stan's criticism is done in dressing room, training ground, but maybe in this case he judged public b@llocking might be best way of kick-starting Weller and Grant. Game v Leeds will be much better indicator of building form. Leeds drew 1-1 at York, who featured Liam George a lad we were reported to be going to buy from Luton a coupla years back before he went off the rails and into non-league. Big variety of moods this preseason among fans, some very optimistic, others not so, as signings have been made/not made, and early results come in. I am in optimistic mood if we can land another central defender and central midfielder.
