Great morale-boosting point at West Ham. I was at the previous visit there a long while back when we lost 2-1 in 79 with Derek Scott scoring. Seem to recall standing in the West Side ("We're not the north side, we're not the south side, we're the west side Upton Park'') with one friend, and keeping quiet most of time. There were a couple of cracking games at the Turf in 70s, a 3-2 win for us after being 2 down (on Match of Day) poss 78, and a 5-3 win for West Ham.
We must get another central defender in if at all possible, as appears May could spend as much time out injured/suspended as he does playing. but seems like the rumoured Wiekens deal has now been knocked on head by KK. Good to see that Arthur had a good game against 2 highly rated forwards and reportedly appeared to have his passion back. I think the division is going to end up very close, and we will need as much strength in depth as poss in the squad.
