Hey, good to see you're still checking in Chorley. Casting my mind back into the dim and distant past of the mid-70s I appreciate the commitments C&B H will have at univ.
As long as players signed appear to give 100 percent to their performances in claret and blue (and grey or whatever), I don't care which club they arrive from. Recent loans such as Todd, and Dave Johnson, have worked very well, others in the past, classic example being Paul Stewart, haven't. This time last week I was feeling very optimistic again, now with the defeat v Cov and supposed training ground bust-up with Stan and May, I'm looking down at that 3rd drop spot again, and would rather not be at Preston on Sat.
Hope the lads hit 50 pts a bit sooner than this site notches up the 200,000 mark. Should get online at home again with new computer from Jan sales so can check in more often.
Seems weird that Boxing Day, one of main football days of the year, does not exist out here in the land of NFL "football." Does not stop me getting pumped up every matchday tho.
So here's to a good points haul thru the holiday period. I think we can get a point at PNE, and the same at Crewe, and then beat Stoke.
