The later rounds of the cup always seem to coincide with our worst performance levels. The only time we hit the heights was at Wembley for the Stockport game and even then we got off to a slow start. If we could just pull out the stops for once..... However safety signals have been released at the Turf so we will survive for another season but then what? The real need is for an increase in the attendance on a regular basis but as has been reported Burnley itself is a very poor area wealth wise and until the job and wage earning prospects increase then we will suffer attendance wise. That said there are a alot of clubs seeminmg to survive on lower gates and so hope springs eternal.
