A good post Alf, the first half was more positive and I felt that Utd were good when facing a direct threat but once we got in behind them they weren't as well organised... trouble was we didn't play wide enough to threaten enough from the wing. I wasn't pleased with Chaplow playing wide and not being utilised and I felt that Blake over elaborated at times and then got caught in possession which put us back under pressure. Overall I think a point was fair as we ran out of ideas and need someone up fromt who can hold win and lay the ball off so we can get an attack going. What about the ref ? seemed to think that Warnock's men were angels with pretty faces and couldn't be bothered to get out the yellow card. Some of his decisions were very strange too. Surely an infringement at a throw in is a free kick not a retaken throw ?( badly dealt with by the Clarets.) Why were we given the advantage when a free kick would have obviously allowed us a better chance and no booking for their player either although Ian M was seen as a real sinner (Morgan was a repetitive sinner !) Ah well we only have to play the cheats away now and they'll be out of our faces.
A good start will need to improve though.UTC
