Good grief Alf, you're still playing football at your ripe old age of ? Must admit, I miss my weekly games of 5-a-side which I was doing right up until I left in Oct 2002, same regular gang kicking lumps off each other then sinking a few beers after, although at that time I was only playing occasional outdoor games due to the years of hammer my knees had taken in local leagues.
Things are cool here, took my lad up to Giants Stadium to see England v Colombia t'other Tuesday. Amazed at numbers of English there, both travelling and ex-pats. Good fun, with the "German Bombers/RAF from England" song being extremely popular. Didn't see any other BFC shirts there, but wide variety of clubs represented, and good atmosphere with colombians especially in the tailgating.
I kinda keep hoping a few more will creep back on here. Some entertainment on the Mad board yesterday though with the "Signing/ smoke out the mole" thread. I enjoyed meeting up with a bunch of the Mad posters at West Ham game, then others plus London branch people at Gills away.
Pleased with SC's 3 incomers, hopefully striker, left back at least to follow - probably end up with Andy Cole as a shock signing!!
