I'm not sure who your grudge is with at Journal. I never spent anytime working for Valorie and have only met her briefly on short visits to say hi to everyone. Every radio building has people that you don't really care to work with or for, but there are still a lot of good people that are employed by Journal in Springfield. Granted many have left since I was there.
As much as I hate to see Z go, I understand why they did it. Z wasn't pulling in the numbers they hoped and Journal wasn't willing to invest anymore into the product. This gives them a cheap way of trying to take some KGBX, Alice, and Star listeners. Glad to see they are at least streaming this station and doing a billboard campaign. It will be interesting to see if Q's share rises or maybe see a raise in US 97's numbers with one less rock product in town.
