You need a stick that covers the two counties.
KHST has a decent size signal. But it's based out of Lamar. It covers the top half of Jasper County. That doesn't help.
KCAR is a tiny signal out of Baxter Springs. It's signal covers with a city-grade signal maybe 1/4th of the "Joplin Market"
You might not need a "big stick" but having one that is placed well and covers the market DOES help.
All of Zimmer's FMs, except KXDG cover the two counties well. Zimmer would LOVE to get their hands on KMXL and dump KXDG for the signal. Keeping Mike FM with it's ratings wouldn't hurt either.
