Saline or Sterile Water????

I have been mixing my sons GSH with boiled distilled water. I was thinking about trying the 0.9% saline just for convenience sake. If I mix it with the saline will it have a different effect on him or is it the same as mixing it with the boiled distilled water? I was just wondering if he would still tolerate it as well? I always give him an albuterol treatment before the inhaled GSH treatment. Also do those who use the saline buy the 3ml or 5ml packets? I usually mix his GSH with 3ml of boiled distilled water.
