Hi, Carrie, I see now. I know quite a lot about each of these trials, and there was no compounding pharmacy involved in any of them. And unless the pharmacy was able to guarantee that PA would not grow in its solution over time, I think it would be much wiser and much safer to make your own buffered solution fresh and use it within 5-6 hours of preparation. One thing the article does not mention is that some of these trials used unbuffered GSH and some used buffered GSH. Buffered GSH is much safer. Unbuffered GSH has a pH of slightly less than 3--ouch!
