Posted by Hope So in a sense, this is all good news. What is ailing her is being tackled. People are taking her yeast and allergy issues seriously now. This is all to the good! Let's hope this means that in a couple of months, you will have much smoother sailing than you poor family has had recently! Hang in there, girl!

Wow, Tiffany, what you and your family have been through! My heart goes out to you. But now we KNOW what is going on--bowel blockages (fairly easily remedied at this stage) and very bad allergies. We gave our first child with CF a small glass of prune juice every morning to make sure there were no blockages developing. (After GSH, we didn't have blockages anymore, but I wonder if your daughter's blockages developed before she went on GSH. And now the yeast is getting tackled, too--don't ever underestimate yeast, it can be a real bear! Such a little thing can cause such big problems.
