We use Mucolyxir. My son used to have frequent trouble with a dry nighttime cough and the Mucolyxir has helped tremendously. I am so grateful, because we all sleep better these days. Mucolyxir definitely helps, but, for us, it is not a replacement for Pulmozyme. Since we started Mucolyxir, I've tried twice without success to get my son off of the Pulmozyme. Both times within a few days of quitting the Pulmozyme, my son began to have a persistent non-productive cough.
