Hi, Salli, how frustrating!!! I do know that secretions pool overnight as you sleep, so a person is way more congested in the morning than they are later in the day. But if he seems to be getting worse while on the cipro . . . gosh, you are right to talk to the doc about that. Six days on cipro should have yielded a turn for the better, and not the worse.
