well Richie, to put you out of your misery the CICC indoor boys played Hockley fielding an under strength side John Wall lost the toss so had to bat. Given the new experience CICC did well to amass a total of 99. Ross Clarke the batting star with 42. Hockley made a steady reply but their experience shone through and reached 100 with still one over to go. From my observations this is a game for the athletic / sports minded, the two younsters were boys amongst men. Ideal squad Ellis, Carlsberg, Wall, Foogie, FBearII, Robbo Jnr, Shearzy. The tactics are quite clear 0 or 1 run per ball restriction when bowling will give you a great chance of winning, do not bowl short (no ball) or down leg = very expensive.
