The indoor cricket season has now been completed.
I am glad to say that we had had a successful season, finishing second in the league and winning promotion to the premier league. I think this is an outstanding achievment in our first season.
The final match was tonight and we needed to win and take 5 wickets to lift the title.
Unfortunately although we took the 5 wickets we lost the game!
I would like to thank everyone who has played and showed an interest played in the indoor cricket. Also a thanks to John.W for skippering the side.
I hope that next season we can build on this and make the indoor cricket more a part of the club and hopefully get more interest from the club members.
