You can read me like a book because I thought to myself, its ok if he's been the chief of two agencies known for their corruption...but when I heard he was black I changed my mind.
Forget about the fact that it gives a hint of impropriety when a member of the department is voting on police matter in a contract municipality. Whether true or not, could look like he was appointed in return for his past and future vote(s).
I understand that life is difficult. Using the race card is definately a reliable fall back crutch for when all else fails and you've got no valid argument. However, save that racial crap for when McDonalds doesn't supersize your meal and want them to give it to you free of charge.
