This story smells. Woman in back seat of Alton police car being transporteed to St L. County Hospital is shot and killed on Highway 367 around 9am. StL County Police investigating. Was the officer doing it with the suspect and his gun went off? Did she grab his gun and shoot herself? Did she try to grab his gun and he shot her? Did she already have a gun on her? This smells.
