Hi, Sonya! I used Cambridge in the eighties, and when I had been on the diet for two weeks, I had lost a lot of weight. However, I was on the monthly for that entire two weeks. That was very odd for me, so I called my doctor. When he learned that I was undergoing rapid weight loss, he had an explanation about the monthly. He said that estrogen is stored in fat cells, and when those cells are emptied rapidly, the estrogen enters the bloodstream in larger quantities. So the hormone encourages the "time" to drag on. He said not to worry unless it became like TONS, if you know what I mean. But I don't know about the rest of your symptoms, I wish I could help. By the way, my internal medicine doc said Cambridge is fine (I took a can for him to read, a couple of years ago.) But he said I needed to add some fiber to it. I wonder if Metamucil would add fiber, plus slow down the diarrhea? Good luck! ~Susie
