Please some of you respond. Even if all you say I read it. It is discouraging for me to try to help when no one, or only one person acknowledges my post to help all of you. It makes me tempted to quit trying and discontine the board.
HOW TO REDUCE YOUR WEIGHT
A Step By Step Plan
When YOU decide you’re going to reduce your weight, follow these steps.
1st YOU MAKE THE CHOICE to reduce your weight.
2nd YOU DECIDE when you will start your weight loss plan.
3rd YOU DECIDE what plan will work best for you.
3rd YOU MUST BELIEVE YOU CAN & will reduce you weight. Tell yourself over and over again that YOU CAN DO THIS AND YOU WILL!!!!!!!!!
Tell yourself many times each day:
I choose to lose weight today.
I deserve to lose weight today.
I will lose weight today.
When possible, saying these things out loud while looking in a mirror will re-enforce your weight loss decision. Of course you can say them to yourself any time you need or want to.
4TH YOU CHOOSE THE ACTIONS that you will do to reduce your weight. WANTING TO LOSE WEIGHT WILL NOT DO IT! YOU HAVE TO DO THE ACTIONS YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Choose some below or choose your own and then do them CONSITENTLY, ALWAYS, OR as much as you possibly can!! No one is perfect, but try to be as perfect and you can be.
1. Take 3 or 4 servings of Cambridge each day whether you add food or not.
2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day.
3. Do some form of exercise that you like at least 3 times a week.
4. Avoid situations and people that will tempt you to eat.
5. Surround yourself with people who support your weight loss goals.
6. If you are adding additional food, choose low fat, low calorie foods that you like.
7. Decide how many calories you will add each day. 400 to 800
8. Count & write down the number of calories you consume each day.
9. Do your very best to not eat more calories than you decided to add.
10. Start & end each day by telling yourself good and positive things about yourself.
11. Reward yourself with small rewards as you lose weight.
12. Visit our Message Board when you need encouragement & suggestions.
NEVER GIVE UP. I KNOW IT IS HARD TO DIET!! YOU CAN SCREW UP AND EAT LIKE CRAZY, BUT YOU CAN'T GIVE UP. MAKE THIS A RULE FOR YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!
