Posted by RUTHANN MORRIS on 8/8/2004, 5:20 pm It doesn't matter how much you ate or how long your binge has lasted! Try to figure out why you ate, or ate more than you planned, or ate more than you needed to satisfy your hunger. Accept the responsibility for your slip up. Try to fix what started you to eat, or if you can’t do that, plan something else you can do to get through it the next time you are tempted to eat when you aren't REALLY hungry. Everyone screws up! What matters is that you at least try to do better next time. When I place a post at the top of the board, it stays there until I remove it. The system is set up that you can not reply to the post, BUT IF YOU WANT YOU CAN POST A "NEW" POST WITH AN ANSWER OR A COMMENT TO ME.

Do You Have GUILT because you just took that “one bite” and that led to a binge and now you are too embarrassed to come back?
You can come back here anytime with no criticism from anyone here.
We all know how hard it is to resist food temptations. WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE!
Please remember, that food will NOT FIX ANY PROBLEM. Regardless how much you eat, the problem will still be there. We know food helps comfort us, but then the GUILT and Depression comes because you feel like a failure. Try hard to remember how you feel AFTER you eat that food, and perhaps next time you can stop before you eat it.
