Hi Pam, I've never used the Ketone strips so I'm absolutely no help you there. Regarding adding a meal that completly fine, I do, I add 400 calories daily and there is nothing wrong with it, I've lost 49lbs by doing that. Regarding teh soups, I personally can't stand thm but my husband likes them because they really filled him up he adds a bunch of spices and stuff and makes it really thick and adds hot sauce to it. You should make the oatmeal muffins Barb had posted the recipe a couple of weeks ago and they are also on Ruthann's web page. They are v. good and you can make different variations of it, Ive made chocolate raspberry , chocolate orange and banana coconut. What are the oatmeal bars? Best of luck.
